Wow! What an amazing experience. Totally understand why it got their Michelin star.
What can I say, a first class dining experience from beginning to end. The quality and taste profile of dishes were outstanding; pairing unique flavours so seamlessly. This is the restaurant that kept giving with multiple amuse-bouche, all delicious! After 3.5 hours we were stuffed. The service was impeccable and friendly. Couldn’t recommend highly enough; a must in Vienna :)
Another magnificent dinner in Vienna for us. Apron delivered excellent food on a high level of performance. Everything we tried was tasty and well cooked. I would personally alter a couple of things but this all comes down to personal tastes. Service was professional and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience which I would gladly repeat.
The service was exceptional! The food was great as well, so much flavour, and you can see all the hard work put behind each creation. The presentation as well was great.

This is easily the best one-star Michelin restaurant I’ve visited. The staff are genuinely attentive, the room is spacious and quiet, and the kitchen turns out flawless dishes. The venison and lobster were both ridiculous in the best possible way. How this place hasn’t been awarded a second star is beyond me. It stands out as one of my best culinary experiences in years.

Fabulous food and outstanding service, a must if you have the budget but at 200+ a head (that included a reasonable priced Pinot Noir @ €50) it tips into the expensive side. That being said, Apron obviously has ambitions to win a second Michelin Star, and food and service of this quality would place it in the 'not far away category', so you might want to catch it while it still has a single star. Stand out dishes, were the Turbot, Red Beet and the Trout and Black pudding, but what made the dining was the amazing amount of additional little foodie treats that were extra, my stomach was bursting by the end, in the best possible way!
We took the 5 course menu, but recived few additional small dishes.
We were warmly welcomed by the staff and ushered in to our table. We settled on 5 and 7 course menus with wine pairing for two. All the dishes were exquisitely crafted and looked amazing, and tasted varying from very good to great. I especially enjoyed the Turbot, as well as the Quail. The red wines were more to my liking than the whites, although the Spanish Abadia Retuerta white was splendid. Cheese platter before dessert was also fine. Celebrating two birthdays we were comped additional desserts so by the end of the Dinner, which started at 7pm and lasted 5 hours,we were all full and content.
